Review:

I hadn’t originally planned to read and review “The Bachelor’s Perfect Proposal” this week. However, since Michelle Jo Quinn was sweet enough to send me a copy and I knew there would be more of Levi, I just couldn’t wait to read it!

This starts out really cool because it goes back to when Levi first saw Veronica, which was before she even started dating Jake, and it gives a little back story on just how long he has been crushing on her 🙂 Back to present time, Veronica and Levi have been together a little less than a year and still madly in love. Levi is so incredibly adorable and attentive and the reader soon finds out that he wants to ask Veronica to marry him. He travels to France to ask his grandmother for her diamond ring, schedules secret meetings with Veronica’s best friend Chase to plan the proposal and even goes to ask for Veronica’s mom’s blessing. Regardless of all of his good intentions and planning, things keep coming up ruining his moment for the perfect proposal.

I’m not sure if I loved this one quite as much as the first one, but I honestly have nothing negative to say about this wonderful novella. I didn’t think it was possible, but I now have even more of a crush on Levi. Handsome, sexy, rich, adorably sweet – it just goes on and on. However, Levi has not fully disclosed his past to Veronica, which of course blows up in his face and causes some rocky moments, but when the reader learns about his past, it’s quickly evident that he wasn’t at fault anyway. He and Veronica are just so incredibly sweet, romantic, and in love that you just feel happy after reading their story.

Michelle Jo Quinn’s writing is honest and heartfelt, but also mixed with tons of surprises, twists, and turns. She has the wonderful ability to create emotionally engaging romance stories that leave the reader not only wanting more, but believing in true love and fairy tales! I highly recommend this novella to any romance lover and can’t wait to read and review more from this author in the future…  Namely, “Chasing the Runaway Bride!” 🙂
